As many of the internet user knows that Windows 7 Service pack 1 has been leaked to Torrent sites. The leaked Windows 7 SP1 release has the build number 7601.16562.100603-1800 and it was originally distributed to select beta testers, and will expire in-between April – July 2011.

Users, who don’t like to download the leaked Service Pack 1 beta (7601.16562.100603-1800) from torrents and other file sharing sites, can now officially download Service Pack 1 directly from “Softpedia”.

Public Beta version of Windows 7 Service Pack 1 availability announced

Now no more wait, Microsoft has announced the imminent availability of public beta version of Service pack 1 for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 at TechEd 2010 annual conference held in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA (June 7-10 2010).

” Today, at TechEd, we are pleased to announce that by the end of July we will be releasing the public beta of Service Pack 1 for Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7. ” - Microsoft Corporation

According to them expectation seems that we will be having SP1 Public Beta in the next one or two weeks.

Share your videos on YouTube through Windows Live Movie Maker Beta

Wave 4 is on the way beyond the expectation of users. Windows Live Movie Maker Beta Wave 4 contains the tremendous feature of sharing your videos on social networking sites or on SkyDrive. Indeed the new WL Movie Maker Wave 4 will gonna bundled with the awesome new AutoMovie Themes, Various Animation and Visual Effects.

The movie maker packed with Wave 3 was having the limited sharing feature rather you would have to upload your videos only into soapbox.

At the Home Tab the two new subTabs “AutoMovie themes” and “Sharing” is included. Sharing tab provides user to share their own created videos on youtube, SkyDrive or in facebook too or they will have the option of saving the video in high resolution on the local drive.

After creating your video click on the YouTube icon present in Sharing Tab. You will be asked your YouTube ID and password.

After Entering Username and password you will be having the window to add the Movie details like its Title, Description, Tags, Category and Permission whether you want to publish your video to the public or private.

After clicking on the publish button your video will be saved in your local drive (with default resolution settings) and then it will be uploaded to your YouTube account.

How to begin using your Office Web Apps in Windows Live

Follow these instructions to successfully begin using your Office Web Apps.

Open an existing document or create a new one in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint 2010 on your PC.
Click File to open Backstage, a full-window file menu that gives you easy access to functions such as saving, printing, and sharing.
Click Share and then Save to SkyDrive (The free online storage service from Windows Live).
In Backstage, click Sign in. You will be prompted to enter your Windows Live ID, or create a Windows Live account. If you use Hotmail, Messenger, or Xbox Live, you already have a Windows Live ID.
Select from the list of SkyDrive folders that is displayed and then click Save As.
In the dialog box that appears, type a file name and then click Save. Click File, and then click Close.
Visit http://skydrive.live.com. If prompted, enter your Windows live ID and password and click Sign in.
Select the folder where you saved your document. Click the file and then select View.
You will be prompted to read and accept the terms of use. When you click Accept, you will be able to view, edit, and share your document online.

Today, Channel 9 launched the new training courses for Office 2010 and Windows Server 2008 R2 created by developers for developers. The release of this course consists of 29, 5-18 minute video segments, with presentations and demos on Office 2010 and Server 2008 R2.

Yesterday , Microsoft had made an announcement of next version of Office 2010 reached its Technical Preview engineering milestone at the Worldwide Partner Conference in New Orleans.

Starting today, tens of thousands of people will be invited to test Office and Visio as part of the Technical Preview program.

Office Web applications will be available in three ways: through Windows Live, where more than 400 million consumers will have access to Office Web applications at no cost; on-premises for all Office volume licensing customers including more than 90 million Office annuity customers; and via Microsoft Online Services, where customers will be able to purchase a subscription as part of a hosted offering.

Office Web application will be containing Cross platform and Cross Browsing support, means you can run office application on any browser on linux or mac platform or even in iPhones. No need to install Silverlight and other plugins.

We have earlier posted about Windows 7 RTM which would be releasing on 24th for MSDN and MS Connect users and about Windows 8 which is already in compilation stage at backstage, Microsoft is also cooking Service pack 1 beta for windows 7. Not sure but i have got the news that SP1 Beta is expected to release in January 2010.

Windows 7 RTM Build 7600 | Real of Fake !!

There are many sites on web which has spreaded the rumors that the final RTM build tag will be 7600 for Windows 7, but there is no official announcements from Microsoft.

According to the source the build string is 6.1.7600.16384.win7_rtm.090710-1945 which was compiled on 10th July.

The x64 bit version of build 7600 has been leaked on many torrents sites. (Please do not download leaks builds. They may harm your PCs and Microsoft will not responsible for that.)
